Management Company Marine Facade implements the largest in Europe waterfront development project at the west edge of Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg. 476,7 hectares of new land reclaimed from the Gulf of Finland in the central part of the city will accommodate new residential and commercial real estate with all the appropriate infrastructure, including utilities, roads and public facilities. The flagship project of the new territory development is the first and the only in Russia specialized Marine Passenger Port. In 2009, Passenger Port of St. Petersburg won the Seatrade Insider Cruise Award for the Best Transit Port . A river port for small passenger crafts is being constructed next to the cruise berths. River port facilities will be used within the City River Transport Development Program, which aims to mitigate road traffic in St. Petersburg. Guests of St. Petersburg, coming to the city through the new sea gate will face an impressive skyline of the North Capital with high-rise office buildings, shopping galleries, recreation zones, parks and residential buildings. The project is implemented as a Public-Private Partnership and supported by the Federal and City Governments
